Longtime CACI CFO, Tom Mutryn, Joins Bluestone

Bluestone Investment Partners, LP ("Bluestone"), a McLean, Virginia-based private equity firm focused on investing in defense, intelligence, and federal technology solutions providers, announced today Mr. Thomas (Tom) Mutryn joined the team as an Executive Partner. Most recently, Mr. Mutryn served as Chief Financial Officer for CACI International, a $6.6 billion dollar firm with over 22,000 employees supporting U.S. Federal government clients. Mr. Mutryn joined the CACI executive team in 2006. Prior to that, Mr. Mutryn served as the CFO for two other publicly traded companies, GTSI Corp and US Airways. Earlier in his career, he worked in finance positions for United Airlines and American Airlines. During his tenure with US Airways and United Airlines, he led activities to finance over $8 billion in new aircraft.

Mr. Mutryn founded and operates Mike’s Place, a nonprofit organization providing recovery housing. He is on the board or advises The Ruddie Memorial Youth Foundation, Changing Perceptions, Arise & Flourish, and the Foundation for Drug Policy Solutions.

Mr. Mutryn attended Cornell University where he studied architecture and engineering, and after a short career in engineering, returned to Cornell to earn a Master of Business Administration.
